Of the thousands of details presented to our senses at any given moment, we will predilect towards a puny, unique subset. Of the thousands of minor accidents which occur to us while possessed of our "blessed rage for order," we rarely anticipate which will signify. Of the thousands of deliberate actions we undertake to order our ideas and world, none or all may be necessary.
